What we work on.

Software engineering, developer tooling and intelligent automation.

Software engineering

We build software end to end: the interface people use and the parts they never see. The aim is code that stays readable, systems that stay dependable and screens that make the next step obvious.

Commercial software is long-lived work. We plan for the version after this one, and for the person who has to change it.

Developer tooling

Good tools pay back twice: they make difficult work easier and the result better. We build and refine tools for our own engineering work, and for other developers where that makes sense.

Tools should behave the same way every time, so the work stays predictable.

Intelligent automation

We use automation for repetitive, well-understood work: reading, checking, sorting and summarising information.

Where a decision matters, a person still makes it. We design for that from the start instead of adding it afterwards.

Reliability and security

We test as we build, keep dependencies to what we actually need, and treat performance and accessibility as part of the engineering work.
